Heather from the Black Hawk office reports that we were able to get out on Wednesday, after the wind finally died down from earlier in the week. The fishing was a steady pick throughout the day. Friday, our private charter had better fishing, with full coolers and happy customers all around the boat. Saturday was tougher- the fish just didn’t want to cooperate, and the bright sunshine and loads of boats out enjoying the beautiful weather didn’t help. Those that stayed at the rail picked away at them.
We got out for squid on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Thursday and Friday were decent, with a steady pick coming over the rails, but not what we were hoping for. Saturday night was the best of the three, with everyone going home with a solid catch of squid. Check out the videos on Facebook and YouTube. We’ll be adding more trips soon, so stay tuned!
