Heather from the Black Hawk office reports that we had a busy week of fishing last week! Monday started off with one of our favorite trips of the year, our VIP (Visually Impaired Persons) trip with the Berlin Lions Club. We always have a great time fishing with such a great group! Our porgy trips during the week showed great fishing. One of our charters did so well with the porgies that they went and did some bass and blue fishing as well, which was also fantastic.
Our first After Work Special trip on Friday evening showed great fishing, with lots of keeper bass in the slot range, as well as some bigger fish that were released. We look forward to running these trips again this year! Our next one is Friday, June 3- space is limited on these trips so book soon! We’re adding a few days trips for bass and blues too- grab your spot today!
Our holiday weekend porgy trips showed beautiful weather and great fishing! Loads of porgies with a good mix of weakfish too. We loved welcoming several new families on board who had never fished with us before- welcome to the Black Hawk family!
We’re running two trips on Saturdays and Sundays now, 5am and 1pm. The weekends do sell out quickly, so be sure to grab your tickets when they’re posted! Weekday trips are posted based on our charter schedule. We’ll start fishing every day on June 17.
As a reminder, we post new trips every Monday night at 8pm, for trips approximately 3 weeks ahead of time. Grab your tickets right away if you have a particular date you’d like!
We’re booking private charters for July and August, so be sure to contact Heather and book your trip if you’d like a certain day.
