Heather from the Black Hawk office reports Mother Nature messed with us a bit on Thursday, but other than that it was a great week! Beautiful weather, limits of porgies, jumbo seabass- a great week of summer fishing!
Thursday’s day trip was cancelled due to the windy conditions, but the afternoon private charter went out and loaded up with the bluefish- as much as anyone wanted, and a load to donate to the local food bank as well!
Friday and Saturday showed excellent fishing. Saturday afternoon’s family trip was fantastic, an absolutely beautiful day before the storm is scheduled to arrive.
At the time of this writing, Hurricane Henri is heading this way, so we will see what happens after the storm passes.
Our trips continue to be by reservation only at this time. As always, tickets will be available to purchase on our website on Monday evenings at 8:00 pm. We will post tickets for our trips one week at a time, approximately two weeks ahead of time. All trips will be by reservation only, so be sure to grab your tickets early!
