fishing reports

Capt. Greg from the Black Hawk reports that Monday again showed some of the best diamond jigging you could ask for. All the bluefish you could possibly want, with a few bass mixed in. All action, full coolers, and tired muscles. Tuesday was back to bottom fishing with excellent seabass fishing, limits all around, full coolers with a nice combination of porgies mixed in. Unfortunately, the rest of the week was a wash with the high winds and the pending storm. We’re planning on fishing again Monday. Everyone’s lost a few days, and we’re certainly looking forward to getting back out there. Who knows what’s going to have changed or where we’re going to find ’em, but since we have Mother Nature as a business partner there’s not much we can do about. Just need to grin and bear it. Look for an update in next week’s report.
Heather from the office reports that this is our last week of weekday fishing trips. Starting on Tuesday, October 6, our schedule will be Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, one trip each day, leaving at 7:00 am. We do still have some dates available for private charters, so give us a call and we’ll get your group set up. As always, check our website and facebook page for updates.
