Heather from the Black Hawk reports another week of excellent fishing!  The porgy fishing continues to be red hot, with limits of porgies coming over the rails all week long.  A good mix of seabass, and again some sea robins and triggerfish in the mix.

The fluke fishing was an improvement over last week, with some nice fish landing in the coolers.  September 1 is our last fluke trip of the season, so be sure to join us!

Our Thursday After Work Special was epic, with huge blues coming over the rails all night, leaving anglers arm weary and exhausted.  Friday night started off strong, but when the tide changed, the fishing went down to a slow pick.

We’re looking forward to the start of the bonus season.  After September 1, our trips will leave at 6am, so be sure to check the time when you purchase your tickets.  After Labor Day, Mondays will be bass and blues, leaving at 7am.

Special congrats go out to one of our crew, Luke, who just celebrated the arrival of his new son, Rhett, on Friday.  Both mom and baby are doing well, and big brother is especially excited!  Congrats to Luke and his family!

As a reminder, we post new trips every Monday night at 8pm, for trips approximately 3 weeks ahead of time.  Grab your tickets right away if you have a particular date you’d like!
