Heather from the Black Hawk reports that September is here, and it was another week of great fishing! With the start of the bonus season, the porgy fishing continues to be red hot, with loads of porgies coming over the rails all week long. Again, with a decent mix of seabass and a few more triggers in the mix as well. We are back in our fall schedule, with one trip daily, leaving at 6am (Tuesday-Sunday, Mondays are blues at 7am).
Our Friday After Work Trip again showed monster blues coming over the rails. These trips are winding down, so if you want to grab a spot, be sure to do it soon! We will be fishing for blues and bass on Mondays, leaving at 7am, for the remainder of September and into October.
We had a fantastic sunset cruise and seal watch on Saturday night, with a great crowd and lots of seals! As always, these trips are part of our Black Hawk and the Community Program, with all proceeds going to local non-profit organizations. Thanks everyone for joining us!
As a reminder, we post new trips every Monday night at 8pm, for trips approximately 3 weeks ahead of time. Grab your tickets right away if you have a particular date you’d like!
We look forward to seeing everyone soon!
