Heather from the Black Hawk office reports that we were tied to the dock for a few days due to the wind, but were able to get back out for the Veterans Day weekend. First and foremost, thank you to all the veterans who have served- we greatly appreciate it and thank you so very much for your service. Our Friday trip was good, limits of porgies and seabass coming over the rails. Saturday wasn’t quite as good, but those who stuck it out were able to get some nice fish in the cooler. Sunday’s trip was much better, with some nice cod in the mix with the porgies and seabass.
As a reminder, our weekday trips are now combo trips, targeting blackfish and porgies/seabass on the same trip. Our regular bottom fishing trips, heading out on Saturdays and Sundays, are for porgies and seabass.
