Heather from the Black Hawk office reports a week of good fishing! Some days we were limited in where we could go because of the winds, but still had good numbers of porgies and seabass. We had a few special trips this week, including one of our favorites- our annual Vets trip with veterans from the Rocky Hill Veterans Home and the New England Saltwater Fishing Club. We had a great group of veterans and they had a blast fighting the big blues all night! They had some competition from the seals, though, who were chasing the bluefish right up to the boat! We continue to fish every day, check our website for schedules and tickets. We do have some dates available for private charters during our weekday full day trips, so be sure to contact us if you’d like to set something up.
We continue to have bottom fishing trips every day except Mondays, when we’ll be bluefishing. Our After Work Special trips are just about done for the season- we look forward to running those again next year. As a reminder, we post new trips every Monday night at 8pm, for trips approximately 3 weeks ahead of time. Grab your tickets right away if you have a particular date you’d like!
