Heather from the Black Hawk office reports another week of hot weather and hot fishing! The bottom fishing remains excellent, with limits of porgies, good sized seabass, and happy anglers on each trip. Our fluke trips continue to show good numbers of fluke as well. Special thanks to the scout troops that came out on our recent scout trip- check out the article in The Day. They brought two carloads of food for the food bank to help give back to the community, and had a great trip catching porgies and seabass too. Thanks, scouts!
Our After Work Special trips for blues and bass continue to be action packed, with huge blues coming over the rails all night long. We are trying to add more of these trips when possible, but they fill quickly so grab your spots as soon as you can!
Our schedule continues – we’re running two trips on Saturdays and Sundays now, 5am and 1pm. We’ll be fishing every weekday as well- check our website for the exact schedule. As a reminder, we post new trips every Monday night at 8pm, for trips approximately 3 weeks ahead of time. Grab your tickets right away if you have a particular date you’d like!
