Heather from the Black Hawk office reports an interesting week of fishing! Monday was lights out porgy fishing, with limits of jumbo porgies all around the boat. Just two days later, though, on Wednesday, we had a beautiful day- and not a porgy to be found. Then Friday, we had a great showing of porgies and a full boat limit of weakfish. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we lost both Saturday and Sunday of the holiday weekend.
We’ll be adding more fluke trips soon, and will be starting our After Work Special trips soon too. We’ll also have some special sunset cruise seal watch fundraisers coming up! Stay tuned to the website for info.
Our trips continue to be by reservation only at this time. Just like last year, tickets will be available to purchase on our website on Monday evenings at 8:00 pm. We will post tickets for our trips one week at a time, approximately two weeks ahead of time. All trips will be by reservation only, so be sure to grab your tickets early!
We are currently booking dates for private charters, but they are filling quickly, so be sure to email Heather to get your date before it’s sold out. Private charters are a great, affordable way to get out with your family, friends, or business!
