Heather from the Black Hawk office reports that we headed out for a cod trip on Sunday. It was a beautiful spring day, but the fishing wasn’t quite what we had hoped. All the recent wind blew in the dogfish, and while we did get some nice cod, we were hampered by the dogfish and had to pick away at the cod.
We are anxiously awaiting the start of our season! Our first porgy trip of the year will be May 1 at 5am. Squid trips will be posted as soon as possible, once we know the squid are in. If you haven’t joined us on a “Calamari Safari” yet, be sure to watch Facebook and our website so you can get your spots!
Tickets will be available to purchase on our website on April 19 at 8:00 pm. Like last year, we will post tickets for our trips one week at a time, approximately two weeks ahead of time. All trips will be by reservation only, so be sure to grab your tickets early!
We are currently booking dates for private charters, but they are filling quickly, so be sure to email Heather to get your date before it’s sold out. Private charters are a great, affordable way to get out with your family, friends, or business!
