Heather from the Black Hawk office reports that we had a good week of fishing, despite losing a few days to the weather. Monday we had some weather to contend with, but were able to anchor up and pick away at ’em. We had limits of big sea bass, a mix of scup, a couple nice cod fish, and blackfish as well. Congratulations to 10-year-old Jaden, who caught the pool winning cod fish during his first time out on the ocean!
Tuesday and Wednesday were good, with limits of porgies and seabass as well as a good mix of codfish. We’re seeing more and more cod on these trips now lately.
Unfortunately, we lost both Thursday and Friday due to the weather. Saturday was good- beautiful weather and calm seas for a perfect fall fishing November day! We had some dog fish to fight through but everyone worked hard and filled the coolers up with some quality sea bass and a solid catch of porgies as well.
As a reminder, all of our trips are now by reservation only, as we’re taking a limited number of people. You can view our schedule and make reservations on our website. Don’t forget to check Facebook for updates and daily reports too. We look forward to seeing you soon!
