Heather from the Black Hawk office reports….well, there’s not much to report! Thanks to Mother Nature and her wind, we only got out on Sunday and Tuesday last week. Tuesday had great fishing, with a boat limit of jumbo seabass, gerat numbers of big tog, and a good showing of codfish as well. Even a few porgies to fill up the spaces in the coolers! Unfortunately, we had to cancel the other trips for the week due to the windy conditions. We look forward to getting out there this week!
We’ll be doing combo trips this week, until blackfish closes next Monday. After that, we will continue to fish as often as possible, as long as the weather allows. Be sure to check our website for schedules and tickets. As we move into late fall and winter fishing, we further limit the capacity on each trip, so be sure to grab your tickets right away if you have a particular date you’d like to fish with us.
As a reminder, we post new trips every Monday night at 8pm, for trips approximately 3 weeks ahead of time.
