Heather from the Black Hawk office reports that when we were finally able to get back out after five days at the dock, the fishing wasn’t as good as we expected. Friday’s trip had decent numbers of porgies, but nothing like we were getting before the storm. We had some nice seabass and even a few cod in the mix as well. Between the full moon tides and the wind, the weekend had some more tough trips, with porgies and seabass, but again, nothing like we’ve been accustomed to. Things should calm down a bit and get back to normal soon- we can’t wait!

We continue to fish every day, weather depending, so check our website for schedules and tickets. We do have some dates available for private charters during our weekday full day trips, so be sure to contact us if you’d like to set something up.

We’ll be adding some blackfish trips soon, and doing our popular “combo trips” in November, when we’ll spend part of the day black fishing and part of the day bottom fishing. The first of these trips will be posted on Monday night, so be sure to grab your tickets!

As a reminder, we post new trips every Monday night at 8pm, for trips approximately 3 weeks ahead of time. Grab your tickets right away if you have a particular date you’d like!

We look forward to seeing everyone soon!
