Heather from the Black Hawk office reports that we had a great week of fishing! The highlight was Wednesday- our fluke trip during the day was fantastic, with loads of good sized fluke around the boat! The night trip that night was simply epic, there’s no other way to put it. We had a full boat limit of keepers in the slot limit, and threw back loads more that were too big. Simply put, it was just unbelievable fishing. Seabass opened in NY waters on Thursday, so we’ve been able to keep those when we’re fishing now. We’re getting a nice mix of porgies and seabass on most of our day trips right now.
We’re running two trips on Saturdays and Sundays now, 5am and 1pm. We’ll be fishing every weekday as well- check our website for the exact schedule. We’ve posted some family trips- these popular trips are shorter trips, with a limited passenger count, at a discounted rate, perfect for families fishing for the first time. They fill up fast, though, so grab your spots soon!
We’ll be posting dates for our Scout trips this week, and we’ve got our fireworks and some sunset cruises coming up soon too. Lots going on, come join us soon!
As a reminder, we post new trips every Monday night at 8pm, for trips approximately 3 weeks ahead of time. Grab your tickets right away if you have a particular date you’d like!
We’re booking private charters for July and August, so be sure to contact Heather and book your trip if you’d like a certain day. Stay tuned for some new trips coming up soon!
We look forward to seeing everyone soon!
