Heather from the Black Hawk office reports a great week of fishing! We started our “Calamari Safari” squid trips- and what trips they were! Anglers loaded up on the squid, filling buckets and coolers! Simply fantastic fishing all around! We will be posting more trips soon- there is a lot of demand for these trips, with a limited number of spots available, so be sure to grab your tickets as soon as you see them posted online!
Our porgy trips showed some good early season action as well! Wednesday’s rainy drizzle didn’t stop our desiccated anglers from loading up on limits of jumbo scup. Friday’s trip was more of the same, with nicer weather and great fishing. Some nice weakfish mixed in with the porgies made for an added bonus.
Our trips continue to be by reservation only at this time. Just like last year, tickets will be available to purchase on our website on Monday evenings at 8:00 pm. We will post tickets for our trips one week at a time, approximately two weeks ahead of time. All trips will be by reservation only, so be sure to grab your tickets early!
We are currently booking dates for private charters, but they are filling quickly, so be sure to email Heather to get your date before it’s sold out. Private charters are a great, affordable way to get out with your family, friends, or business! We have 1-2 May dates left, and only a few left for June- so be sure to get your dates soon!
