Capt. Greg from the Black Hawk reports that it seem like the wind fan was on high for most of this past week, limiting where we could go. We still stayed local and clobbered the porgies with a good mix of Seabass, and even a few bluefish and a few fluke. We seemed to have quite a few kids in the mix the last few trips and everybody had a ball with their parents catching jumbo scup and filling the coolers. On Friday, Capt. Matt even went outside to a few close wrecks and did a pretty good number on the jumbo seabass. We’re starting up our night bass trips this week with our first trip being on Monday so stay tune for the report.
Heather from the office reports that we had our last “sunset seal watch” of the season on Saturday night and it was a great success. Lots of seals and everyone had a great time. We’re proud to have raised well over $2,000 for 6 different local organizations. We can’t wait to do some more seal watches in the winter!
We’re fishing every day, leaving at 7am. We’ll be posting some more night trips soon, so stay tuned for dates and times. As always, check the website and Facebook page for info and reports. We look forward to seeing everyone soon!
