Heather from the Black Hawk reports that we had a great weekend of fishing, leaving from our winter dock in Noank.  Saturday’s trip started off a little slow but we picked away and made a few moves and finally anchored up on a pile! We ended the day with a boat limit of big knothead sea bass and limits of XXL scup! We also had a healthy shot cod cod up to 18lbs, some pollock and ling as well!   Sunday was an absolutely beautiful December day on the water, with plenty of action! The jumbo porgies chewed the bottom of the boat out all day long! The sea bass had to fight through the swarm of scup to get to the bait, but we still filled the up on knotheads. We rounded out the coolers with a solid catch of cod and ling, as well.

We will be adding more trips soon for this week, so stay tuned! Don’t miss out on this great fishing at Block Island! These trips are by reservation only and fill up fast, so be sure to book your tickets online once you see them posted.  As always, check out Facebook page and website for details and reports.  We hope to see you soon!
