Heather from the Black Hawk office reports that the porgy and seabass fishing took a little turn this week for a few days-  maybe because of the impending storm, maybe because there were a couple of sharks seen around- but catches were a little off for a few days.  That all changed on Saturday, when it went right back to where it was.  Limits of seabass, limits of seabass, and even some 45 per person limits on the porgies for some of the regular customers.  Some good, solid fishing.

Bluefishing, on the other hand, has not slowed down at all and remained very, very good.  Diamond jigging has remained as good as it gets, with a good mix of seabass and some striped bass here and there too.

Unfortunately, we had to miss both Sunday and Monday due to the storm, but we’re looking forward to getting back out there as soon as we can.  As a reminder, we’re fishing 7 days a week at 7am.  Sundays and Mondays are for bass and blues, Tuesday through Saturday is bottom fishing.   As always, check our website for updates and details.
