Capt. Greg from the Black Hawk reports that we had a specialty trip on Tuesday, leaving at 5:00 am. Weather was calm, fishing was absolutely excellent- the porgy fishing was just sensational. Big scup, double and triple headers, everybody catching their limit in a heartbeat. We then went outside farther to where the seabass were, and almost everybody caught their limit of big seabass. A few codfish mixed in with a few bluefish as well. On the way in, the weather started deteriorating, the wind started to pick up, and it has been blowing ever since. We lost all of the other days were supposed to fish this week, including our special Veterans Day trip. As of this writing, we’re still waiting for the winds to be subside so that we can continue our season.

Our schedule is now Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, one trip each day, leaving at 6:00 am. These trips are reservation only and limited to 30 people, so you’ll need to call the office to get a spot on board. When the weather is good, we also plan on doing some weekday trips- so stay tuned to your email and our Facebook and Twitter pages for updates on when we’ll do those trips. We hope to see you soon!
